Scope and current site features

This policy describes The Model Yard at silvermead.xyz and the code shipped with it. Reading requires no account. There are no reader profiles, subscriptions, public comments, payments or uploaded files. The designated public contact is shown below. Hosting arrangements, mailbox delivery and publisher identity still require confirmation before launch.

Information entered in the contact form

The form contains name, email, topic and message fields. Name is optional; the browser checks the required email and message fields when you choose Check message locally. The site code keeps the draft only in the current page and does not submit it to a server, write it to browser storage or publish it. Leaving or reloading can lose the draft. Browser autofill, restoration and extensions are controlled separately by your browser.

Reading, search and browser storage

Search compares your words with the article list in your browser. It does not send a search request to an external service. The shipped site code sets no cookies and does not use localStorage or sessionStorage for tracking or profiles. Fonts, photographs, styles and scripts are served as local site assets. Your browser may cache downloaded files as part of its normal operation.

Technical requests and hosting

Loading a page requests files from the server serving the site. Such requests can expose technical information such as an IP address, request path, browser headers and time of access. The local preview server may log requests. A production hosting provider has not been selected, so no production provider, storage country, log retention period or transfer safeguard is asserted here. Those details require verification before public operation.

Correspondence and service providers

The website has no email-delivery integration or contact endpoint. If you separately use an email or communication service, that service handles the information you send under its own arrangements. Delivery to the designated mailbox has not been verified, so receipt of a privacy request cannot yet be assured. Before a working channel is introduced, the publisher must document who receives correspondence, why it is kept, how access is limited and when it is removed.

Advertising and analytics

No Google AdSense, Google Analytics, advertising tags or audience-measurement tools are enabled in this edition. The site does not currently sell or share form entries for advertising. Adding advertising or analytics requires a fresh review of vendors, actual data flows, disclosures and any applicable consent choices before those tools are activated.

Reference and licence links lead to separately operated websites. Visiting them can disclose request information to those operators and may involve their cookies or services. Review their privacy information before providing data. Article photographs are served from this site rather than requested from their original source websites during ordinary reading.

Your choices and privacy questions

You can read without completing the form, avoid entering personal information and manage browser storage or autofill through browser settings. Depending on applicable law and actual processing, rights may include access, correction, deletion, objection or withdrawal of consent. The site does not assign a universal legal basis, response deadline or jurisdiction to every reader.

Privacy questions use the contact route: [email protected]. The form does not send requests, and delivery to the designated mailbox must be verified before public release. Where applicable, concerns may also be raised with the relevant data protection authority.

Children and sensitive information

The journal is about railway modelling and does not offer child accounts or request ages. Do not enter information about a child, passwords, payment details or sensitive personal records into the draft form. An operational contact and handling process would be needed to address any future report of personal information being received.

Security, retention and policy changes

No website or communication system can promise absolute security. This website has no server-side form store or mailing database, so there is no stored form record for the site to retain or delete. Browser-held drafts, caches and local preview logs are separate from such a database. Production security, retention and service-provider terms require confirmation before launch.
